MPC8260 processor card

 

Overview

The MPC8260 Processor Card functions as a generic MPC8260 resource board, provides a flexible environment for developers implementing MPC8260-based networking application. It is a self contained system with MPC8260 and some peripherals assembled on a small PCB, included system memory and boot Flash on its 60X PowerPC bus and system memory on local bus.

The MPC8260 Processor Card is designed to provide maximum flexibility and cycle time reduction for MPC8260 developers to build their own MPC8260 system. It provides 6 board-to- board connectors, which are connected to most useful signals of the MPC8260 Communication Controller. Developers can build their own boards to connect to the MPC8260 Processor Card and reduce the debugging effort in MPC8260 native system.

·     2 Mbytes Flash memory (support up to two 2/4/8 Mbytes 16-bit Flash)

·     One RS-232 Serial Port

·     One 10/100BaseT Ethernet interface

·     One COP Interface

·     ThreadX, INTEGRITY and Vxworks BSP available.

·     Single 3.3V power supply connector

·     2.5V(Vcore) is provided by on board regulator

·     ROM monitor Metrowerks MetroTRK is supported , easy to link with Code Warrior IDE

·     Suitable for fast turn around time projects and prototype evaluation

·     Small in size 14.9 CM * 7.4 CM
